This is where we learn how to walk as Hope Reformers, with Hope against Hope, and in childlike Hope and Wonder for all the promises and goodness of God to come forth in the land of the living!
"Yet I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living." Psalm 27:13
In the Comfort Room, we realized that in the midst of grief and loss, Jesus never leaves our side. He promises us that we will not remain in feelings of sadness. We walk through in order to move past it in our lives. Even while we feel vulnerable, He leads us right into the Hope Reformers' Room to avoid falling into hopelessness.
When Jesus led me to the door of the Hope Reformers' Room, He showed me that we need healing for our sick hearts caused by being without hope. Hope is the “expectation and childlike anticipation of the goodness of God to show up in all areas of your life.” Our God of Hope advances our hearts in our divine destiny. He gives us Hope for today. He turns the valley of challenges into a Door of Hope. We walk through it and go from prisoners of grief to Prisoners of Hope!
"Therefore I am now going to allure her; I will lead her into the wilderness and speak tenderly to her. There I will give her back her vineyards, and will make the Valley of Achor a door of hope. There she will respond as in the days of her youth, as in the day she came up out of Egypt." - Hosea 2:14-15
"Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you." - Zechariah 9:12
We get to engage and gaze upon the beautiful face of our God of Hope and adore Him as He takes us through the Hope Reformers' Room!
